Audience COVID-19 Safety Requirements
All patrons are required to bring proof of vaccination or proof of a negative test result. You will not be granted admittance without one of these. Please read below for full details.

Playwrights Foundation is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment for our audiences, artists, and staff as we welcome you back to the theater. All of our artists and staff provide a negative test result for a COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken within 6 hours before they arrive onsite. The following protocols are currently in place for audiences during the 2022 Bay Area Playwrights Festival:

Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test Result:

Audiences who come to BAPF at Potrero Stage will need to present one of the following at the door:

    • proof of vaccination (a vaccination card/photo of vaccination card, or a Digital Vaccine Record; and your ID);
    • a negative COVID-19 PCR result from a test taken within 72 hours before the event start time (a photocopy or digital photo is fine);
    • a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen result from a test taken within 6 hours before event start time (a photocopy or digital photo is fine).
    • If you do not bring your documents with you, you will not be granted admittance to the theater.

People are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine, or 14 days after a single-dose vaccine per CDC guidelines.

Masking:

    • Masking is required for all patrons and staff inside of the theater and for all indoor events.
    • Masks are optional during outdoor events.
