Thank you for your interest in applying to be a part of Playwrights Foundation’s programming. PF’s programs offer playwrights financial, material, promotional, and educational resources and advocacy, which are critical to pursuing a successful playwriting career. Playwrights Foundation has two core programs that open for applications: our BAY AREA PLAYWRIGHTS FESTIVAL (even years, all writers in the United States) and our RESIDENT PLAYWRIGHTS PROGRAM (odd years, SF Bay Area writers only).

We DO NOT accept script submissions outside of these two programs.

Bay Area Playwrights Festival (BAPF)
