Decolonizing New Play Development
Co-Produced with the National New Play Network and Calling Up Justice
A conversation between theatre artists exploring not only what and whose work is being developed but how and for whom with a focus on the BIPOC community. What does decolonization mean? What systems do we need to dismantle and rebuild in order to be more equitable? What does developing through an anti-racist lens look like? How do we shift power structures and build spaces that allow BIPOC artists to create outside of the dominant white culture? What is our dream future?
