23 May PF Alum Chris Chen wins the Obie for Caught!
We couldn’t be prouder to congratulate PF Resident Playwright and 3-time Festival alum Chris Chen for his Obie award for Caught! In ceremonies May 22, Chris’s play was awarded an Obie for playwriting. It was 10 years ago that PF workshopped his play In the Numbers at BAPF 2007; his plays Anomienaulis (BAPF 2009) and The Hundred Flowers Project (BAPF 2012) followed.
Discovering Chris’s talent early in his career and helping to develop his work over the years is a testament to the value of Playwrights Foundation to the American Theater.
